On January 26th, The Alliance for Aging Research and a distinguished panel of experts discussed the findings from two recent reports on health equity in value assessment. The first is the Alliance’s ICER Reviews and the Aging Population: A Review of Recent ICER Reports and Recommendations to Advance Aging Equity in Value Assessment, which examined how older adults have been treated in the last two years of ICER reports and provides recommendations for improvement.
The second, Aligning Health Technology Assessment with Efforts to Advance Health Equity, examined the wider field of health technology assessment and provides recommendations for eliminating methodological biases that impact individuals of color.
